Charging at home
AC charging stations (wallboxes) act as a smart socket that feeds the vehicle's onboard charger. The catalog includes tethered-cable and socket (cable-less) versions of the TommaTech Likya 22 kW AC device, and a separate 22 kW Type 2 32 A 5 m charging cable. Solar Nexo supplies these products.
Selection criteria
- The vehicle's AC charging capacity: Many vehicles accept less than 22 kW AC; the device power should be assessed against the vehicle's limit.
- Electricity subscription type: 22 kW charging requires a three-phase connection; with a single-phase subscription, lower power applies.
- Tethered or socket: The tethered-cable model offers ease of use; with the socket model, a separate cable is used.
- Installation location: Distance to the parking spot, panel connection and outdoor conditions are decisive.
Compatibility with solar energy
Users with a solar plant at home can charge their vehicle during the day with their own production. In detached homes in Antalya this application can become common; if the vehicle is usually charged in the evening, hybrid systems with battery support can be considered.
