What is solar lighting?
Solar lighting luminaires combine a solar panel, battery, LED light and control unit in a single body or as nearby parts. They charge during the day, switch on automatically at night and need no grid cable. The catalog has two separate subcategories: road and street, and walkway.
Subcategories
- Road / street solar LED lighting: Power options such as 20 W and 36 W in the All-in-One Hexagon and similar series.
- Walkway solar LED lighting: ECO Series and 4 m pole models; for gardens, parks and footpaths.
Selection criteria
- Lighting power (W): Determined by the width of the road to be lit and the pole height.
- Pole height and spacing: Luminaire spacing determines light distribution.
- Burn time: It matters whether the goal is full power all night or dimmed operation.
- Placement: The panel must face the sun all day without shading.
Antalya conditions
The high number of sunny days is an advantage for solar lighting. In coastal areas, the effect of salt and wind should be considered for pole and connection durability. It suits residential complexes, municipal roads and hotel gardens where running a grid line is difficult.
Planning tips
Luminaire spacing, pole height and light distribution determine the lighting level. Tree shade, building reflections and wind direction affect panel position. If several luminaires will be installed, choosing the same model for all points makes maintenance and spare-part management easier.
Battery life and LED operating hours depend on frequency of use and temperature. In very hot or very cold regions, the product's operating temperature range must be checked. Periodically cleaning dust off the panel surface helps maintain charging performance.
