Smart (off-grid) inverters
Smart inverters are devices that charge the battery, manage the energy from the panels and produce a 230 V single-phase output. In the catalog, the C ProX and C PlusX series come with 12 V, 24 V and 48 V battery voltages; their power ranges from 1.5 kW to 11 kW. They are used in places with no grid or where an extra backup source is wanted alongside the grid.
Selection criteria
- Battery voltage: 12 V is preferred for small loads, 24 V for medium systems and 48 V for large systems; higher voltage means less current at the same power.
- Output power: The starting current of devices such as pumps, refrigerators and air conditioners must be added to the total power.
- Built-in charge control: The panel input and MPPT feature should be verified on the product page.
- Battery type: Compatibility of the charging profile for lithium or gel batteries should be checked.
Usage examples
Vineyard houses with no power line, highland cabins, boats and yachts, caravans and small businesses are the main areas of use for these devices.
