Storage for homes
Residential storage systems consist of lithium battery modules that work together with a hybrid inverter. Energy surplus during the day is kept in the battery and used in the evening hours or during a grid outage. The catalog is divided into two main groups: low-voltage and high-voltage batteries.
The difference between low and high voltage
- Low voltage (LV): 25.6 V and 51.2 V class modules; used in small and medium home systems for flexible, stepwise capacity growth.
- High voltage (HV): Modules are connected in series to reach a high DC voltage; preferred with three-phase hybrid inverters and at higher capacities.
Selection criteria
- The home's daily consumption and the amount of load to be used at night
- How many hours of backup supply are wanted during a grid outage
- The battery type and module count limit supported by the inverter
- Installation location: a dry, ventilated and accessible area
Antalya conditions
Batteries are sensitive to high temperatures; they should be placed in spots that do not overheat and do not get direct sun, such as a garage or technical room. For villa and holiday home use, the possibility of sitting idle for long periods is also taken into account in capacity planning.
Solar Nexo service
Solar Nexo reviews consumption to recommend battery capacity, supplies the set compatible with the inverter, installs it and commissions it. You can find detailed information on our Hybrid systems page.
