What is the TommaTech ABS+PC Case 12.8V-200Ah Marine Battery?
TommaTech ABS+PC Case 12.8V-200Ah Marine Battery is a rechargeable lithium iron phosphate battery used in boats, caravans and similar mobile systems. Multiplying the 12.8V and 200Ah values gives a nominal energy of approximately 2.56 kWh. In addition to its removable ABS+PC case, it includes LED indicators and heater components; it has twice the capacity of the 100Ah model.

Which projects is it suited for?
It is suited for cruising boats, sailboats, caravans, fishing boats, country houses and small off-grid systems. It can be used in place of a lead-acid battery in setups that supply 12/24V loads such as an electric motor, navigation electronics, lighting and a refrigerator. It can also be part of mobile systems charged by a solar panel.
For correct sizing, the electricity bill and the list of appliances are reviewed first; then the storage capacity, inverter power and number of parallel connections are determined. If this order is not followed, the battery either falls short or turns into a larger investment than necessary.
