What is TommaTech New 1K 12V 1-Phase Smart Inverter?
TommaTech New 1K 12V 1-Phase Smart Inverter is a 1000 W inverter/charger designed for small off-grid systems. It works with a 12 V battery and includes a PWM-type solar charge controller; thanks to its simple design it is preferred in budget-focused installations that run with only a few panels.
The PWM controller charges by bringing the panel voltage close to the battery voltage; for this reason an array power limit of 600 W and a PV open-circuit voltage limit of 55 V apply. If higher panel power or a wide voltage range is needed, an MPPT model should be considered.
