What is TommaTech 3 kWh Lithium Battery + Storage Management System?
This product is a 3.1 kWh battery module used with high-voltage hybrid inverters and includes the storage management system (BMS). It is designed to store surplus energy produced from solar power and use it in the evening hours or during a grid outage. The supplier states that up to 3.0 of the TT-4kWh cells can be equipped with a BMS.

Which projects is it suitable for?
It can be used in high-voltage hybrid systems for homes, villas and small commercial businesses. Thanks to its small capacity, it suits projects that want to start with storage at a low initial investment and add modules later.
For correct sizing, the electricity bill and the list of appliances are reviewed first; then the storage capacity, inverter power and number of parallel connections are determined. If this order is not followed, the battery either falls short or turns into a larger investment than necessary.
