Single-phase Uno inverters
The Uno series are on-grid inverters that operate connected to a 230 V single-phase grid. The catalog includes small Atom models of 0.6 kW and 0.7 kW and a Micro S class micro inverter. These products are used in detached houses, apartment roofs, small shops and balcony applications.
What to look for when choosing
- Subscription type: Where there is a single-phase subscription, this series is the right group; with a three-phase subscription, the Trio series should be considered.
- Power: An inverter power compatible with the number of panels that fit on the roof and with consumption should be chosen.
- Panel compatibility: Panel voltage and current values must stay within the MPPT input range.
- Micro inverter distinction: Micro inverters are connected to each panel separately; they can be advantageous on shaded roofs and in small installations.
Use in Antalya
In apartment buildings in the city center, shared roof space and single-phase consumption are a common situation. In such projects, small-power inverters are planned together with an application process to be evaluated within the regulations.
Installation and operation
For wall-mounted devices, sufficient air clearance is left. Small-power models run quietly; however, on walls that get direct sun, production may be limited due to heating. For this reason, a shaded and ventilated place is preferred.
With micro inverters, since the production of each panel can be monitored separately, a problematic panel is easily identified. If backup energy is needed, single-phase hybrid products should be considered.
In balcony and small roof applications, cable length is kept short and a separate protected line is preferred for the AC connection. A Wi-Fi module or app support for monitoring production should be confirmed on the product page.
In single-phase systems, the inverter's protection range against grid voltage fluctuations and the error codes readable on the display are also taken into account. This information allows a problem to be diagnosed quickly in case of a fault.
