What is the TommaTech 240Wp 48PM G2G 1.75m Terrace Solar Panel?
TommaTech 240Wp 48PM G2G 1.75m Terrace Solar Panel is a glass terrace panel in TommaTech's building-integrated (BIPV) family, 1.75 m long and delivering 240 Wp. It generates electricity at the same time while serving as a terrace or conservatory covering.
Compared with the 1.50 m model that delivers the same 240 Wp, this model is longer and offers 38% transparent area; in other words, it lets in more daylight at equal power. In areas that want brightness, such as conservatories, this difference is decisive. According to the supplier, the aluminum structure provides sealing and contributes to thermal insulation; the system is offered in 4 main sizes.

Which projects is it suitable for?
Conservatories at homes, villa terraces, cafe and restaurant courtyards and hotel poolside canopies are typical uses for this length. Suitable for those who want to create a semi-open space while retaining daylight.
Use in Antalya and Solar Nexo support
In Antalya, the summer sun increases the need for both lighting and shade on terraces and by pools; the BIPV glass panel generates electricity while shading the area beneath it. According to PVGIS, 1 kWp produces about 1,656 kWh per year (theoretical); for a 240 Wp panel this works out to about 397 kWh/year. The actual value varies with tilt, orientation and shading. The document list includes VDE and TÜV SÜD IEC 61215/61730 certificates and PID (IEC 62804) and salt mist (IEC 61701) test certificates; these documents are worth reviewing for areas near the coast.
Solar Nexo manages every step from supply to installation and commissioning; the aluminum structure and sealing detail are planned at the site survey. The datasheet can be downloaded from the product page.
