What is the TommaTech Battery Charger Unit Integrated 24V-30A?
TommaTech Battery Charger Unit Integrated 24V-30A is an integrated charger that is fixed onto the vehicle and charges the vehicle's battery in place. It leaves no need for a separate charging station; charging starts when the vehicle approaches a socket. It is the lowest-current model of the series, in the 24V class; it is aimed at the integrated charging need of light cleaning machines and small golf carts.
Key technical features
| Feature | Value |
|---|---|
| System voltage | 24V |
| Current class | 30A |
| Power factor | PFC ≥ 0.98 |
| Protection class | IP65, waterproof |
| Protections | Overvoltage, over-temperature, short circuit |
| Mounting | Integrated into the vehicle |
Which projects is it suited for?
It is suitable for golf carts, on-site electric service vehicles at hotels and residential complexes, cleaning machines and similar light electric equipment manufacturers or fleet operators. The trouble of carrying a separate charger for each vehicle or taking it out of a cabinet is eliminated.
Three values should be evaluated together when choosing: the vehicle's battery voltage, the maximum charging current permitted by the battery manufacturer, and the grid connection at the charging point. Even if the device's current rating is high, the charging current is not raised above the battery limit. Solar Nexo performs this check during the site survey and commissioning.
Use in Antalya and Solar Nexo support
At hotels and holiday resorts in Antalya, golf carts and cleaning machines operate almost every day throughout the summer. An integrated, IP65-protected charger can stay in the vehicle unaffected by washing and humidity; even so, it is important to install it so that it does not block the unit's ventilation area.
The Solar Nexo team is with you from selection to on-site installation, from commissioning to after-sales technical support; it carries out site surveys and prepares quotes for projects in Antalya and the surrounding area. You can download the datasheet on the page for technical details.
