Charging suited to lithium batteries
Lithium batteries need their own charging profile; a lead-acid charger is often not suitable. The wall-mounted charging units in the catalog are offered for 24 V and 48 V systems with current ratings of 100 A and 150 A. They are used at the central charging points of industrial vehicle and equipment fleets.
Selection criteria
- Battery voltage: Separate models are needed for a 24 V class pallet truck battery and a 48 V class forklift battery.
- Charging current: High current shortens charging time, but the battery's charging current limit must not be exceeded.
- Communication: Communication between the battery's BMS and the charger must be compatible.
- Electrical infrastructure: The charging unit's input power and grid connection must be compatible with the facility's panel capacity.
Installation environment
Wall-mounted units need to operate at a point with open ventilation, protected from dust and humidity. In the hot summer conditions of Antalya, the ambient temperature in the warehouse's charging area can also affect device performance.
