What is the TommaTech Uno Hybrid N 8.0 kW Single-Phase Inverter?
TommaTech Uno Hybrid N 8.0 kW Single-Phase Inverter is a single-phase hybrid inverter that works with low-voltage batteries. The Uno Hybrid N series is designed both for new installations and for upgrading existing solar systems. The 8 kW class offers a higher instantaneous load capacity than 6 kW; it suits single-phase villas that run loads such as two air conditioners, a cooker and a pump together.
According to the manufacturer's description, the series has an IP65 protection rating; it supports AC coupling for retrofitting to existing systems; and in on-grid and off-grid scenarios it allows up to 16 units to operate in parallel. In the series' product presentation, the maximum charge/discharge current is given in the range of 135 A to 350 A, and multiple battery configurations are supported. Storing energy from a diesel generator is also possible.
