In cabinet-type systems, the battery, cooling and management unit are delivered in a ready-made enclosure. The catalog includes the TommaTech cabinet-type 60 kWh and 60 kWh-50 kW power and energy storage products, as well as the Orion Outdoor series with 241 kWh capacity. They are commissioned on site with additional units and panel connections.

Purposes of use

• Saving on grid connection power by reducing peak power demand
• Using solar plant surplus production in the evening hours
• Backup energy in critical facilities

Selection criteria

• Capacity and power: The kWh value shows the energy to be stored, and the kW value shows the instantaneous power that can be delivered.
• Installation location: Suitability for indoor (Indoor) or outdoor (Outdoor) use should be checked.
• Ground and area: The cabinet's weight, transport and crane requirements must be planned in advance.
• Cooling and safety: In high-temperature regions, the cooling type and fire detection system are important.
