What is modular storage?

In modular systems, battery blocks are put together in a rack or cabinet and new modules are added as needs grow. The catalog includes the TommaTech Hera Indoor series and a modular high-voltage energy storage system.

• Not stopping the whole system when swapping modules or doing maintenance
• A configuration that can be adapted to different power and energy needs

Selection criteria

• Placement: Indoor systems require an enclosed, controlled technical room.
• Inverter or PCS compatibility: A high-voltage battery must be used with a compatible power converter.
• Expansion limit: The maximum number of modules that can be added to the rack is checked from the product documentation.
• Ventilation: Room temperature must be kept within limits; in Antalya this requires particular attention in summer.
