What is the TommaTech Next Generation 4G Dongle?
TommaTech Next Generation 4G Dongle is a monitoring accessory that connects your inverter to the internet over a mobile line. Because it works with a nano SIM card inserted into it, inverter data can reach the server even when there is no Wi-Fi or wired network on site.
According to the manufacturer's description, the dongle enables remote monitoring, control and software updates. Data is uploaded at 5-minute intervals. Its 135 g body is heavier than most of the Wi-Fi-based dongle models in the series.

What projects is it suitable for?
Mobile-line operation is most useful in these cases:
- Field, vineyard and garden installations without internet infrastructure
- Holiday homes or rental properties where the customer leaves no modem at home
- Detached storage buildings and workshops where the Wi-Fi signal does not reach the inverter room
Points to watch during installation
Check that the SIM card's data plan is active, and move the dongle if the signal is weak. If mobile operator coverage is tested at the installation site beforehand, no time is lost during commissioning.
Use in Antalya and Solar Nexo support
In garden, greenhouse and highland installations in Antalya, internet infrastructure is not always available; the 4G dongle fills this gap with a SIM card. The IP65 protection class gives confidence against dust and water splashes in installations close to the outdoors. The choice of SIM card operator and plan belongs to the user.
Solar Nexo checks the dongle's compatibility with your inverter model and handles SIM activation and portal registration during commissioning. The product's datasheet can be downloaded from this page.
