What is the TommaTech 110 Wp Flexible Solar Panel?
TommaTech 110 Wp Flexible Solar Panel (model TT-FLEX-110) is a thin, lightweight flexible panel that conforms to non-flat surfaces. This 110 Wp step is the low-power member of the series, with a voltage close to 12 V systems.

The panel is made with an ETFE surface, prism texture and IBC (back-contact) cell structure; it can bend up to 30 degrees and is 2 mm thick. It is stated to be more resistant than conventional panels to power loss caused by breakage and corrosion from bending or humid environments.
What projects is it suitable for?
It is suitable for charging 12 V batteries on boats, caravans and curved roofs: since the Vmp value is 18.8 V, it is used together with a charge controller in small systems. Caravan roofs, boat bimini tops, small garden houses and curved covers are typical examples of surfaces.

The 110 Wp and 170 Wp models belong to the same flexible panel family; the difference lies in the number of cells (4 x 8 and 6 x 8) and, accordingly, in power and voltage. If 12 Wp is enough for a small 110 V system, this step is the one to choose; if more surface and energy are needed, 170 Wp is preferred.
