Where are flexible panels used?

Flexible panels are lighter than classic modules with glass and aluminum frames and can bend up to a certain radius. For this reason, they are preferred for boat and yacht decks, caravan roofs, curved surfaces and lightweight roofs to which a support system cannot be added. The catalog has standard and Dark Series models in the 110 Wp and 170 Wp power classes.

Points to note when choosing

• Mounting surface: The bonding or fastening method must be chosen to suit the surface material.
• Heat dissipation: With modules fully bonded to the surface, air circulation is limited; efficiency at high temperature may vary accordingly.
• System voltage: A charge controller suited to 12 V or 24 V battery systems should be chosen.
• Power need: Battery capacity and daily consumption determine the number of panels.
