Series connection cable for a battery bank
In a series connection the voltages of the two batteries add up; this short cable joins the terminals of batteries standing side by side. The 30 cm length leaves no excess cable when the batteries are placed next to each other.
The conductor is electrolytic tinned, fine multi-stranded and flexible (compliant with IEC 60228). The cable is double-insulated, halogen-free and flame-retardant. If the contact between the battery terminal and the lug is loose, heating occurs; for this reason, tightening torque and lug orientation are checked in Solar Nexo installations.
Using a different cross-section or terminal type in the system can cause heating and loose contact. It is therefore sensible to compare the length, cross-section and terminal information on the product page with your project's needs for each connection line, and to share it with Solar Nexo if necessary.
