5 metre panel-inverter DC line
The 5 metre set suits small rooftop and garden installations where the inverter is relatively close to the strings. There are two cables; the connectors are used on the panel side and the ferrules at the inverter terminal.
Being shorter than the 10 metre version of the same set, it is sufficient in terms of cable loss and cost when the distance allows. The conductor is double-insulated, tinned and flame-retardant. The actual distance should be measured from the roof to the inverter room; Solar Nexo takes this measurement during the site survey.
Using a different cross-section or terminal type in the system can cause heating and loose contact. It is therefore sensible to compare the length, cross-section and terminal information on the product page with your project's needs for each connection line, and to share it with Solar Nexo if necessary.
