Power line between the battery and the smart inverter
This set forms the high-current DC line between the smart inverter and the battery. The two-core (positive and negative) 1.5 metre cable is designed for installations where you place the battery and the unit close together.
The lugged end goes to the battery terminal and the ferruled end goes to the inverter terminal. The multi-stranded tinned conductor and cross-linked sheath material provide resistance to abrasion and cuts. The length of a DC line should not be increased unnecessarily; Solar Nexo teams lay out the installation so as to keep the battery-inverter distance short in the project.
Using a different cross-section or terminal type in the system can cause heating and loose contact. It is therefore sensible to compare the length, cross-section and terminal information on the product page with your project's needs for each connection line, and to share it with Solar Nexo if necessary.
