2x40 cm set for parallel battery connection
In a parallel connection the voltage stays the same and the capacity (Ah) increases. Since the set consists of two cables, the positive and negative lines are completed together; each cable has an A25 lug on both ends.
It differs from the 30 cm series set in both the number of cables and the 40 cm length: it reaches batteries that stand slightly farther apart. The cable has a tinned multi-stranded conductor and is double-insulated and halogen-free. So that the connection distributes current evenly to each battery, Solar Nexo installations prefer cables of the same length and cross-section.
Using a different cross-section or terminal type in the system can cause heating and loose contact. It is therefore sensible to compare the length, cross-section and terminal information on the product page with your project's needs for each connection line, and to share it with Solar Nexo if necessary.
