Data cable between the battery and the inverter
With its RJ45 ends, this cable shares the data of the battery management system with the inverter. The 1.5 metre length is sufficient for installations where the battery and inverter stand side by side.
The 30 cm cable in the same series connects batteries to each other; this product joins the battery group to the inverter. The 24 AWG CAT6 construction does not carry power, only data. A separate cable set is needed for the power line. At commissioning, Solar Nexo checks on the inverter screen that communication has been established.
Choosing the wrong set for battery cables can affect device warranty and safety. Check the series name, voltage and cable type (power or communication) before ordering; if in doubt, the Solar Nexo technical team will verify the product match.
